Artist's Description
After a cold swim in the lake, sitting on the dock with a glass of wine, I watched a blustery gale burst through the mountains across lake Kezar, Maine.
The sun was setting with billowing clouds reflecting its golds and reds, while shadowing the tree lined mountains.
It was a very cold windy evening, and I relished being embraced by the atmospheric power and beauty around me..

About Alida M Haslett
I find mystery in Creation and Re-Creation: respite and solace in the woods, observing the different wildlife, underground brooks, the fluid intricate frozen water patterns and sounds; mystery in an ever growing appreciation for a Master's Loving Brush and Wand. - Art is an unconscious interconnecting with the soul of nature, which is only revealed through a deliberate intimate relationship. I always knew that art would be a major avenue of deep expression. My major at Converse College, South Carolina was Fine Art, which I broadened to include minors in Religion, Humanities and Philosophy.
