Description

Flying over California, I was mesmerized by the intense red hills I observed below.
They were full of valleys, shadows and brilliant earth tones. From far above, I was able to see the great expanse of uncluttered beauty, simplicity, earth, sand, sun colors, broad shadows and highlights- I was silent inside a plane.
Cloud covers may have been snow, blue haze may have been water or mountains, gold heat hovered.
My branded images found themselves into gouache paints and onto paper.
