February, It is still silent here in Pennsylvania. Snow filled fields flattened but for shadows, color- loss, endless dark and grey..
I didn't paint this in the winter, but the abstract suggestions of water and earth, light patch, the quiet of a dusk and dawn, are reflections of time uncluttered- and during lent, especially relevant.

I find mystery in Creation and Re-Creation: respite and solace in the woods, observing the different wildlife, underground brooks, the fluid intricate frozen water patterns and sounds; mystery in an ever growing appreciation for a Master's Loving Brush and Wand. - Art is an unconscious interconnecting with the soul of nature, which is only revealed through a deliberate intimate relationship. I always knew that art would be a major avenue of deep expression. My major at Converse College, South Carolina was Fine Art, which I broadened to include minors in Religion, Humanities and Philosophy.
