In the Ladew Topiary Gardens, Monkton, MD, are many rooms of exotic topiary sculptures, asian gardens, intimate paths and rare woodland plantings.
During my walk, I was stopped by the color play and vertical stand of two unusual giant elephant ear leaves with a gracefully curved black iron railing, paired for maximum grace, drama, and intimacy. One was a purple heart.

I find mystery in Creation and Re-Creation: respite and solace in the woods, observing the different wildlife, underground brooks, the fluid intricate frozen water patterns and sounds; mystery in an ever growing appreciation for a Master's Loving Brush and Wand. - Art is an unconscious interconnecting with the soul of nature, which is only revealed through a deliberate intimate relationship. I always knew that art would be a major avenue of deep expression. My major at Converse College, South Carolina was Fine Art, which I broadened to include minors in Religion, Humanities and Philosophy.
