Stunning wings of a bee reflect the colors of their surroundings.
Feeding on the nectar of a joe-pye-weed flower, the little bee sits and steadily sips.
The delicate wings are astoundingly beautiful, not often observed closely as the bee is in motion flying from bud to bud, searching for nutrition.
Though they do buzz when in flight, I see them in song as they rest.

I find mystery in Creation and Re-Creation: respite and solace in the woods, observing the different wildlife, underground brooks, the fluid intricate frozen water patterns and sounds; mystery in an ever growing appreciation for a Master's Loving Brush and Wand. - Art is an unconscious interconnecting with the soul of nature, which is only revealed through a deliberate intimate relationship. I always knew that art would be a major avenue of deep expression. My major at Converse College, South Carolina was Fine Art, which I broadened to include minors in Religion, Humanities and Philosophy.
