This abstract creation came from a still life photograph of a potted plant with cascading leaves and fine thin flowers.
I loved the concept of the original, but it needed to be refined to find its soul. I found many.
By cropping and reversing the direction of the hanging leaves, and digitally manipulating the colors and contrast, I found my image for this piece. Autumn grass on a hot day.

I find mystery in Creation and Re-Creation: respite and solace in the woods, observing the different wildlife, underground brooks, the fluid intricate frozen water patterns and sounds; mystery in an ever growing appreciation for a Master's Loving Brush and Wand. - Art is an unconscious interconnecting with the soul of nature, which is only revealed through a deliberate intimate relationship. I always knew that art would be a major avenue of deep expression. My major at Converse College, South Carolina was Fine Art, which I broadened to include minors in Religion, Humanities and Philosophy.
