I happened to wander onto an empty playground on a very damp grey day.
Alone, I sat for a while just looking at the structures built for toddlers and a bit older, to play on, in and over. I imagined the sounds of those busy child noises, a cry or two from injuries, spats, rubber clomping, shouting, laughing, in a blurry sort of way.
