Description
Resting on a wrought iron stand, is a beautiful North American blue jay.
The rain has subsided and all is damp and quiet. Only the sound of raindrops falling off the leafy trees can be heard.
It is dusk, and almost time for the birds to head home for the night.
Hard to distinguish between, the male and females look very similar.
Their song is varied and musical, and they are excellent imitators of other sounds.
Monogamous for life, these birds are rarely seen alone.
