Description

Window shopping in NOLA is like walking past art museums.
This shop sells costumes for the famous festivals held in New Orleans, most notably, Mardi Gras.
Grand masks, adorned with sequins, pearls, jewels, feathers, eccentric head wear and jewelry are paired to deliver dramatic and exquisite creations.
I find masks disturbing- lifeless expressions with power.
