Description
This oil painting was inspired by the magnificent lotus pond at Chanticleer Gardens in Wayne Pennsylvania.
The waterlilies crowd this beautiful site and fill the water with unusual organic life, joy and beauty.
On this day, a strong breeze was pushing the leaves and plants, creating wonderful water movement and reflections.
I chose a single bud as my focus and nestled it in with its dramatic flat floating pads and other wandering flowers , petals and leaves gathering along the bank edge.
