Description
Busy sipping and pollinating, a beautiful Monarch butterfly flits around the wild bed of black-eyed susan flowers.
Along the edge of a pond, many insects thrive on the wild flowers which grow there.
It is late August in New Hampshire, and the monarchs are in full form, fueling before they ready for their fall migration.
They will cover thousands of miles, with a corresponding multigenerational return north.
