Description
Four tiny house finches gather at the feeder to chirp and feed on sunflower seeds.
They seem to be discussing matters of importance as I observed them chirping a great deal of the time between cracking seeds.
The black and white capture illustrates their busy energetic nature.
They flit around constantly, in a rather frantic pace, and continually amuse me with their antics.
These little birds need their own company to survive. Very social and nesting as pairs, each pair tends the nest and forages for food. Their eggs are light blue with spots of black or lavender.
My bluebird houses are occupied by house wrens and house finches.
