Description
Beyond a stone wall, the woodland begins. It is introduced by a wild bed of geraniums, blue Rozanne Cranebills.
They have massed to cover a large swath of the border, which surrounds an open space before thickets of berrying shrubs offer cover for wild birds.
This is a space where daydreams are made, secrets are hid and small creatures thrive.
There is noisy invisible energy about, a rustle of a leaf, a tiny chirp, a scurrying cross a hidden path between the flowers. You can hear and see evidence, but cannot identify the subjects.
Only the flowers and trees intimately know the inhabitants.
