Description
Lotus carpellary receptacles lean together as autumn approaches. Their petals have dropped.
Long bending stems begin to dip, and eventually the receptacles will dry and turn brown.
The base of the energy and life of the lotus flower, these receptacles seem to hold light, and in their bare form, are peaceful objects of simple beauty.
