This beautiful branch of cherry blossoms was taken at the Haverford College, in Haverford, PA. Well known for the beautiful grounds, the college has many specimen trees..
I have lived next to the campus for most of my life, and have taken many photographs there, as well as painted many images.
On a recent sunny spring day, this white Cherry tree was at its peak, covered with bursting blossoms and dappled with small pink buds- ripe for opening.
Magic happens inside each five petaled cup.
