Caught while falling from a river birch tree branch, a dried leaf hangs suspended from a vibrant salmon colored begonia blossom.
Contrasting brittle dry nature with supple, moist living nature, both hold strength and energy.
The leaf cannot bend but is bent, and the blossoms are hanging from thin delicate stems.
A beautiful witness to the balance and fragility of life and death.
