Description
Along the water's edge, beautiful fresh water loving plants thrive.
Thick with cattails, the border of this pond holds refuge for frogs, toads and small fish.
My favorite time to wander around these habitats is during the late afternoon.
Softened light catches cloud reflections in the water.
Plants are inner lit with left over noon day sun.
A breeze saunters across the surrounding fields and cause sway in the reeds.
Busying bees and other insects are finishing their nourishment and readying for rest.
